The Artist

My interest in art began at a very early age. I wanted my dad to draw me a horse, but he told me to try to draw my own. From that moment onward, I was determined to succeed at drawing. The seed was planted and grew all through high school. Upon graduation, I left for the Air Force and had a successful 13-year career working with Canines. Art was an ever-present hobby and a personal refuge. I found I was able to express myself through art spending hours drawing and painting to my favorite music.

Once my Air Force career concluded, I attended college in pursuit of art and graphic design. My long time hobby had become a passion, and I knew I would open a studio someday. I began getting requests to transform photos of canine training into hand-drawn pieces. This gave breath to the first works that sparked BH Originals.

BH Originals grew and took on the shape of my dream - dedicating my life full time to art.
I opened “the Loft” fine art gallery in Texas hill country in 2019. Where I proudly provided fine art originals until Fall of 2021. Selling out of all of my works I closed the doors on one adventure, and am on my way to the next.

I currently reside north of Nashville, Tennessee; still providing works to many of my clients while working on accomplishing my next goal…

The LOFT Studio & Gallery

I enjoy creating unique original art that will never be offered as a print. I take pride in being an artist that is comfortable in many mediums and never shies away from a challenge. I enjoy expression in a wide range of mediums, from the thick impressionistic works of acrylic to the detail in line work of graphite. I have experience in ink, pencil, colored pencil, oil paint, acrylic, heavy body paint, and more. I embrace both impression work and fine, detail-heavy line work as part of my collection.

And although I love creating works on my own, I am always honored to bringing to life commissions for other inspired spirits.
